This document is a transcript of a remote viewing session conducted on May 22, 1984, as part of the Stargate Project, a US government-funded program that aimed to investigate the use of psychic phenomena for military intelligence gathering. The transcript was obtained by The Black Vault through a FOIA request and is now available in the public domain. The document begins with a description of the method used to acquire the site for the remote viewing session: a sealed envelope containing a 3x5 card with the following information: "The planet Mars. Time of interest approximately 1 million years B.C. Selected geographic coordinates, provided by the parties requesting the information, were verbally given to the subject during the interview." The transcript then details the remote viewing session, in which the subject is asked to describe what they see. At one point, the subject reports seeing a "pyramid or pyramid form" on the surface of Mars, followed by a description of a "large depressed area." The subject is then asked to move in time to a specific period and describe what's happening. They report seeing "severe, severe clouds, more like dust storm, ah... it's geologic problem." The subject is then asked to go back to a period before the geologic problem and describe what they see. They report seeing "mountains of dirt... appear and then disappear when you go before." The subject is then asked to describe any activity in the area. They report seeing "a perception of a shadow of people, very tall... thin, it's only a shadow." The subject is then asked to go back to a period where the people are present, but the description becomes fragmented and difficult to follow. The transcript continues with the subject being asked to move to different locations on Mars, describing what they see at each location. At one point, they report seeing a "cluster of squares up and down" that are "almost flush with the ground and it's like they're connected." The subject is then asked to describe the position of observation and the shape of the squares.
