The documents were released on November 27, 2018, as part of a Freedom of Information Act request (F-2018-00976). The CIA acknowledged receipt of payment from Mr. Greenewald and enclosed the requested documents. The release was made in response to a request filed by Mr. Greenewald on February 21, 2018.
