The release is part of a larger collection of MKULTRA documents declassified in 2018 and 2019. THE DOCUMENT: Dear Mr. Grccncwald, This acknowledges receipt of your 27 May 2004 letter in which you enclosed check number 1257 in the amount of $30 for the purchase of our CD ROM version of MKULTRA records. One set of three CDs containing officially released MKULTRA and behavioral research records is enclosed. We also enclose a copy of the MORI printout of documents indexed by the terms "MKUL TRA" and "behavioral research" to serve as an index to the CDs, for your convenience. You will note that the CD files are listed by document number only, without titles, and that these numbers track with the MORI ID numbers. Please understand that these CDs contain nearly 20,000 pages of documents. Concerning copyrights, no MKUL TRA record created by the Central Intelligence Agency is copyrighted. However, you should assume that any record that appears to have been created by any person or entity other than the US Government is copyrighted, and you will need to seek legal advice concerning your use of such documents.
