BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING: A white glowing spider hovered over comments at about which no one could get a feel or an answer. It moved clear and conclusions were recorded as follows: Was Balloon – Probably Balloon; Possibly Balloon. Was Aircraft – Probably Aircraft; Possibly Aircraft. Was Astronomical – Probably Astronomical; Possibly Astronomical. Insufficient data for evaluation – Unknown. BACKGROUND – A local newspaper in the Styrian province reported the incident immediately when the flying noise similar to a “front‑page” sound was heard. Evaluation of the picture identified a white object that “took my care” and was described as a “saucer” in the report. The photographer, identified as a news cameraman, stated that the object hovered for about ten seconds over a wooded area, approximately one hundred feet above the ground, before moving away. THE PHOTOGRAPH – The image captured a round glowing device, approximately fifteen feet in diameter, hovering above the ground. The photographer reported feeling heat from the object at a distance of fifty feet. After six to seven seconds the object accelerated and disappeared from view.
