Immediately behind it, the centrally located building and repair area is characterized by a five-story office building, a one-story fabrication and storage building on the west, and a wood-working shop on the east. The administration and fitting out areas occupy the north-central part of the complex, and a small repair facility is on the west. Activity at the shipyard considerably increased during nineteen-sixty-four. Construction of two W-class submarines began during this period, utilizing four of eight prefabricated sections observed on imagery, located at the head of a building way.
