In response to the referenced requirement, a search of photography since was conducted within an 80-nautical mile radius of Hotien airfield, 37-03N 079-51E, for any evidence of a ballistic missile impact area. 2. The entire search area was covered on small-scale photography with interpretability ranging from poor to good and partially covered on large-scale photography with interpretability ranging from poor to good. No evidence of vehicular activity, cratering, ground markers, scarring, electronic facilities, weather stations, landing fields or other related installations was noted in the area of interest. 3. The only area of significance was observed 70nm northeast of the search area at 37-47N 082-37E, approximately 145nm northeast of Hotien airfield. The road-served area consists of four small closely associated facilities containing five possible quarters, 18 possible storage buildings, three storage/support buildings and numerous small sheds. A possible instrumentation tower with a small possible bunkered building adjacent is located 0.5nm south of the four associated facilities.
