Our present area of particular interest is east of the Luichow Peninsula, where five PRC minesweepers have been conducting exercises. It is believed that aerial photographic coverage can provide valuable and timely intelligence concerning PRC logistic and naval activity. Enclosure 2 is a listing of important coastal objectives. It is requested that these requirements be forwarded to the CIA collection office for collection as practicable with appropriate assets. The Luichow Peninsula and the Shandong Inland area are of highest priority.
