Has this happened to you? You get a haircut and someone close to you - maybe it’s your partner, your sibling, or your friend - says something like, “Is something different about you? You look different, but I can’t put my finger on it.”
Maybe they sort of notice. Or maybe they don’t notice at all?
I’ve been doing a little bit of housekeeping around here. And I have no idea whether you’ve noticed, or not.
I also don’t know whether I should draw attention to the housekeeping I’m doing, or not. (Just keeping it real.) But I’m going to.
We have a new logo at Tell Me 3 Good Things (you’ll find it at the bottom of today’s post in place of the usual painting), thanks to some amazing creative minds. (I am happy to share more about that if you’re interested!) We have a new logo, some new fonts, a consistent color palette. Basically a glow-up.
But that’s not all.
The home page of the Substack has a new layout, too. You might never see it, if you get these posts in your email daily, but it’s like the front door for someone coming over for the first time, and the new layout makes the entryway even more welcoming.
Next week, I’ll be sharing a series of posts that cover the basics of Tell Me 3 Good Things - what it is, what we do, and why it’s important. It will be a refresher for some of us, but even if you’ve been here for awhile, it’s always a good reminder. That series of posts will then live front and center on the home page, so that new visitors can easily understand what this practice is, and why it’s important.
Maybe it’s burying the lede to say this here, at the bottom of this housekeeping post, but I’m not joking when I say that I think Tell Me 3 Good Things can change the world. That’s why I do this. That’s why I type to you everyday, and ask you to Tell Me 3 Good Things.
Because the more we connect to what’s good in our lives, and in the world, the more we amplify the goodness in the world - and goodness knows the world needs more of that.
Because the more of us who practice, the more goodness we can amplify.
And because the more we share good things with each other, the more we see ourselves reflected in each other - and the more we realize how much more we are alike than we might realize. And goodness knows the world needs more of that.
Thanks for being here, friends. Your presence and participation in this practice is a great good thing.
