Came back to find 8 baby rabbits dead along with a few other problems. Sigh, lesson learned - don’t hire a woman to help who is in the middle of a divorce. Most things were alive though.
I’ve made a ton of progress in the guinea piggery area. Got rid of the the less functional super heavy cages (and the lighter ones) and I am building a new set of structures.
I show a super quick and temporary rainwater collection setup. The rain puddling up was an invitation for the ducks to do what they do best - shit all over the place! It was truly a mess.
That trip may have been the last one for a long, long time. I hope I didn’t come across as overly dramatic to my family. But this energy crisis thingy is really getting serious.
At least the Italian restaurant we dined at wasn’t empty.

The affected person looks like they are having respiratory problems - because oxygen uptake isn’t working. And yes, you guessed it - the 5G network has 60GHz transmit capability.

I riff for a bit on some historical reading about the word ‘person’ which was used in relation to the indentured servants who came to America is the 1600’s onward. Ugh, only about 40$% of them survived to fulfill their contracts. And women, if they got pregnant, had their contracts extended by 2 years (even if it was the master who raped her). Life was very very harsh back then.

I was inspired by a Substack writer Re-wilding today (or approxiamtely that name) and she is doing a series called open source Sundays. I loaded my degoogled phone with “Organic Maps” as an alternative to google.
I was also playing with a smaller offline, private AI model you can use on your phone called PocketPal. It seemed to be doing well (I was pleasantly surprised). But then it crashed my phone. I’ll try another one.
I continue to build community and talk about the event I hosted at the local bookstore. And all the nickles I have given away! I am quite interested to see what, f any, impact these small actions will have as the crisis unfolds.
