“Once upon a time when women were birds, there was the simple understanding that to sing at dawn, and to sing at dusk, was to heal the world with joy. The birds still remember what we have forgotten. That the world was meant to be celebrated.” ~Terry Tempest Williams
Tuesday:
When I woke up this morning, it felt like fall for the first time this year. Rainy and grey, and cool enough for a sweater. I appreciate the coziness of the upcoming season, and having a roof over my head in the rain.
Today was my daughter’s first day at her new job! So exciting.
Ann Patchett and R. Eric Adams in conversation tonight,
through our amazing local bookstore. What a gift to sit in a beautiful sanctuary full of people who love books, listening to two great authors speak about their craft.
Now you? Tell me 3 good things?
