Friday:
With the exception of the 4 days in August when I was too sick to get out of bed, I have walked outside every day since November 1, 2025. Today marks 364 days of walking in the ice, in the wind, in the sweltering heat, on the day of my colonoscopy, on holidays and travel days. Every day for a year. I am proud of myself. And I plan to keep going.
I cooked with celery root for the first time today. What a fascinating vegetable (it’s kind of hairy)! It was fun figuring out how to peel it. Also, a new-to-me vegetable feels like surprise and delight.
This practice, which grounds me and returns my attention to the simple goodness that surrounds me everyday.
Now you? Tell me 3 good things?
Xo.
