The DOJ has yet to comment on the reason behind the Monday raid on Rep. Ilhan Omar’s home in DC, but it was reported that they were executing a judicially-authorized search warrant in a criminal investigation. Some sources say that it’s related to the immigration paperwork her late father filled out to obtain her US citizenship, and the potential infractions include false statements, conspiracy and immigration fraud.
