In today’s newsletter, we remember the nearly 3,000 Americans murdered 25 years ago in the September 11th terrorist attacks. President Trump marked the anniversary at the Pentagon, while ceremonies across the country honored those whose lives were lost and reaffirmed the promise that America will never forget. We also look back at the Republican midterm convention in Dallas, where Republicans made their case to voters ahead of November. Finally, our news briefs cover the Lindsay Clancy trial, North Carolina politics and the continuing debate over whether four-year college degrees are worth their rising cost.

Friday marked the 25 th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Trump said, “September 11 reminded us of the terrible power of hate. The 25 years since have shown us the even greater power of the American spirit to endure and prevail, and to win. And today, our country is stronger than it has ever been before. It has never been as strong as it is right now.
“Because of that spirit, when future generations come here in 25, 100 or 250 years from now, they will stand in a nation that is free and unyielding in the face of evil, and they will still honor the heroes of 9/11, who no age will erase from the memory of time...It will never, ever be forgotten. Will never be forgotten. And we can never forget. God bless our 911 families. God bless our unbelievable, brave and beautiful first responders. God bless the United States military and God bless America.”

The GOP midterm convention in Dallas wrapped up Thursday night, and the two most talked-about speeches came from HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Vice President J.D. Vance.
** RFK Jr. pointed out **how insane and far-left the Democratic Party has become by saying that he’s 72 and for 70 years of his life, he would have bet any amount of money that he’d never be addressing a Republican convention. But he also never imagined that the Democratic Party, during the COVID pandemic, would turn against “every one of its essential values, its principles, and all of the policies that define my party” until the people he thought were the champions of the Constitution “systematically obliterated the Bill of Rights.” He said the only right left unscathed was the Second Amendment, and that’s “probably because there is a Second Amendment.”
RFK Jr. went on to say that his late father and uncle, JFK, wouldn’t recognize today’s Democratic Party, which is built on nothing but hating Donald Trump. He said the party of “No Kings” appointed a queen without a single primary vote. And this was his coup de grace: that the voters’ choice used to be between right and left, but now, it’s “about sane and insane...common sense and Communism.”
You know you’re getting old if you can remember when the Democratic Party was led by JFK, who actually opposed communism.
In his speech, VP Vance highlighted the many accomplishments of the Trump 2.0 Administration in less than two years and savaged what the Democrats have become. In particular, he blasted the blatantly racist attacks from the left on his wife Usha, who is Indian-American. And in a great unscripted moment, a heckler who’d snuck in to disrupt the speech started yelling while waving Mexican and Palestinian flags.
As he was being thrown out, the crowd roared and chanted, “USA! USA!” when Vance told him,
“Well, my friend, if you love Mexico so much, get your a** over there! I’ll buy you the plane ticket!”
We have a better suggestion: Send him to Gaza and let him find out firsthand how welcome the hedonist policies of the American left are among the people they’re championing.

Final note: While the GOP midterm convention was a huge success, we can’t say how much it might move the needle on the election, since many biased media outlets refused to cover it. Then again, people who watch those outlets are too brainwashed to consider voting Republican anyway.
But we think that Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld made a good point when he advised Republicans to remember that most people aren’t that deep into politics and don’t watch political events because they have too many other things to deal with. His suggestion was that, instead of concentrating on political arguments, just ask the AI platform Grok to list the top 50 accomplishments of the Trump Administration 2.0 that have improved Americans’ everyday lives and promote the heck out of that in commercials.
Remind voters that in less than two years, Trump has given us a sealed border and an end to illegal immigration (the Democrats claimed that was impossible); a huge reduction in the violent crime rate; the end of Iran’s nuclear threat; lower inflation; a rejuvenated US military; mass deportation of criminal aliens; huge foreign investment in the US economy; a tax cut for working people, including no tax on tips and a break for Social Security recipients; a new focus on healthy foods; Trump accounts to provide a financial nest egg for children; the rollback of racist DEI policies in colleges, government and the workplace; and much more.
During that same period, what have the Democrats given us? Men in women’s sports, attacks on ICE for doing its job, the normalization of assassinations as a political tactic, and the elevation of America-hating socialist lunatics. When you put it that way, the choice should be so obvious that even AOC could get it right.
An eight-year legal battle has finally concluded for Massachusetts District Court Judge Shelley Joseph, ** with a formal reprimand** from the state Supreme Court. In 2018, Joseph ordered the court’s recording system be turned off while she engaged in a sidebar with attorneys, during which time an illegal alien drug defendant escaped from an ICE agent waiting to detain him.
The High Court said there was no evidence that Joseph knew the alien’s attorneys were hustling him out the back door, but that her order to shut off the recording and her suggestion that he be held overnight in state custody instead of turning him over to the feds “created an appearance of impropriety in violation of her duties.” No kidding.
In 2022, charges against Joseph were dropped after she agreed to submit herself to the Commission on Judicial Conduct, which found she had “engaged in willful judicial misconduct that brought the judicial office into disrepute, as well as conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice and unbecoming a judicial officer.” She was barred from working for three years. She’s still a judge but is doing administrative work.
While we’re glad to hear that the Supreme Court even in Massachusetts knows what the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause is, we would like to issue a formal reprimand to the DOJ for granting the illegal alien’s defense attorneys complete immunity from prosecution in exchange for helping in the case against Joseph. Joseph’s attorneys called that an “extraordinary sweetheart deal” for the actual “architect and ringleader” of the plan.
Attorneys are also supposed to be officers of the court, so why should they be allowed to escape out the back door when they willfully help their clients evade arrest?
It’s often said that those who don’t learn from the past are doomed to repeat it, which could be the motto of all the young socialists who either flunked American history class or, more likely, never took a real one. For them, Marco Rubio offered a crash course in how socialists crash entire nations, pointing out all the nations in the Western Hemisphere where the leftwing got into power and destroyed the entire country, including Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua and Cuba.
It’s too bad that today’s young socialist cloth-heads are too young to remember the “SNL” sketch, “Toonces, the Driving Cat,” because what that cat does to a car is exactly what socialists do to entire nations every time they get into the driver’s seat.
Liberal Media Mind Melt: It was revealed that the hold-out juror who refused to acquit Lindsay Clancy for murdering her three children, and whom the liberal media have been trashing all week, is black. Yes, ** as Nick Arama of Redstate.com put it**, they’ve been celebrating some pushy white women jurors for trashing a black man. Those racists!
Seriously, why is it a shock to them to discover that a black man might have moral objections to acquitting a woman who admittedly strangled her three small children? Talk about the soft bigotry of low expectations!
Attention, North Carolina Voters! Senate candidate Roy Cooper is running as a common sense Democrat who will work across the aisle with Republicans. So why did he refuse to sign a pledge repudiating the radical socialists who are trying to take over his party?
As is often the case with politicians, ** it took an undercover video** to expose the truth: for him, letting socialist radicals into the party and working with them is just part of the big tent needed to win.
Our rule of thumb: Anyone who is willing to do whatever it takes to win, including compromise with America-hating socialists, is someone who doesn’t deserve to win a race for dog catcher.
Latest argument for sending your kids to trade school: Even if you send them to New Mexico State, they could still end up with a professor who thinks the greatest historical figure of the 20th century is mass-murdering Chinese communist dictator Mao Zedong. This “academic” ** also refers to “Marxists, communists and revolutionaries**” in a way that makes it clear he includes himself in all three categories. Good, then he’ll have plenty of other fields to work in when he’s fired from teaching.
You know it’s bad when even the acting Secretary of Labor ** is telling parents** that a four-year college degree doesn’t give kids the skills they need for their first day at work and isn’t worth the cost, and they should look into training for manufacturing jobs instead.
Seriously, parents: trade school. Plumbers and mechanics can earn six-figure incomes, can’t be replaced by AI, and are actually needed by society.
