Reported business evidence
Arm’s May 6 fiscal 2026 release reported $4.92 billion revenue, up 23%, with $2.61 billion royalties and $2.31 billion licensing. GAAP operating margin was 18.3%, compared with non-GAAP 43%; annual non-GAAP free cash flow was $882 million. Adjusted profit and GAAP profit are different measures, and share-based compensation has dilution implications.
July 29 Q1 fiscal 2027 revenue was $1.289 billion, up 22%: $715 million royalties and $574 million licensing. GAAP operating margin was 7.1%, versus non-GAAP 41.2%. Operating cash flow was $902 million, non-GAAP free cash flow $665 million, and cash plus short-term investments $3.888 billion. The cash balance is a point-in-time stock, not quarterly income. Management’s more than $2 billion AGI CPU customer demand over fiscal 2027–2028 and $1 billion capacity-supported opportunity are not recognized revenue.
Frozen valuation research and quarterly monitoring
The released September research used the September 18, 2026 archived $275.61 NASDAQ ARM USD anchor. It is not a live quote. The separately synthesized paths of approximately $220 after one year and $196 after five years are scenarios, not achieved returns, guaranteed losses or trading instructions. No probabilities or current valuation multiple are asserted.
The averaged bear/base/bull paths below use a different aggregation from the synthesized consensus. The audio discusses the first and fourth checkpoints; all four and the full twenty-step research are available here.

These are model monitoring windows, not confirmed company reporting dates. The confirmed next event is November 4, 2026, Q2 fiscal 2027 results. February 3 and May 5, 2027 are tentatively proposed dates that can change. Fiscal and calendar quarters should be kept distinct.
What changed, and what would invalidate the thesis?
Fourteen AI advisor perspectives contribute: eight sell-all labels and six partially-sell labels; twelve of fourteen five-year forecast directions are negative. These are simulated AI research perspectives, not independent human analysts. Labels, projected directions and majority agreement are not evidence of realized forecasting accuracy.
This is our first full public Arm episode. July and September original non-adjusted five-year snapshots show mean annual forecasts including modeled dividends moving from −1.59% to −6.56%, and anchors from $315.28 to $275.61. The panel changed from twelve to fourteen voices and from one to three underlying models, while the ranking universe changed. These changes confound direct attribution; they do not establish business deterioration or improved forecasting accuracy.
The skeptical case weakens if recurring royalties, commercial-silicon delivery and durable cash conversion justify the required investment and valuation. The bull case weakens if engineering costs outpace commercial conversion, royalty momentum stalls or customer relationships deteriorate. Demand headlines and a single strong cash quarter do not settle either question.
