Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Today marks ** the third anniversary of the barbaric October 7 attack** on Israel by Hamas terrorists, who killed 1200 people and took 251 hostage, with only 168 of them being returned alive. In Israel, the day began with a moment of silence for the victims, with memorials scheduled all through the day across the nation. The IDF said in a statement that Israel’s “history was forever changed” on that day, and “We will never forget the horrors of the Oct. 7 Massacre...3 Years Later, Our Promise Remains Unbroken: To Protect Our Nation.”
Here is a statement on today’s anniversary, released on X from US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee.
A number of world leaders issued statements of sympathy and solidarity with Israel, and denounced anti-Seimitism – although it would be more convincing if they ** practiced those beliefs every day in their own nations**.
Indeed, as this article illustrates, the ** media worldwide seem to have already forgotten** that day. They’re torn between framing this anniversary as a time to honor the innocent victims of a horrific, hateful attack, or to demonize Israel for fighting back and accuse it of a nonexistent “genocide,” despite the extraordinary efforts taken to help the people of Gaza and not to harm them, even as the cowards of Hamas hid behind them to save themselves. Here’s an idea: How about blaming the deaths of innocents on those who are actually responsible?
And for more proof of the excellent PR that evil has nowadays, here’s a sickening video of an October 7th survivor who tried to share her story in Europe and ** was booed offstage by those who don’t want to hear the truth**.
Townhall.com ** has a special report** on the terror tunnels Hamas built under Gaza from which they launch attacks on Israel. These tunnels and the weapons stored in them are what the “Palestinian” leaders chose to spend the billions in aid money they were given on, instead of schools, hospitals or business development. It’s the real reason why Gaza is a hellhole and not a thriving success like Israel: because its leaders sink all their resources into hatred and violence against Jews instead of uplifting their own people. Yet somehow, their poverty is Israel’s fault.
For those who haven’t swallowed three years’ worth of Hamas propaganda distributed as news by Western media outlets and who aren’t afraid of the truth, here’s a must-read interview with someone who survived ** 505 days of being held hostage**. He reveals how turning to God lifted him from the complete darkness he was being held in and into the light.
There’s some positive news for oil prices out of Iran. Saudi Arabia said that its East-West pipeline that was attacked by drones last month is operating again, with 5.8 million barrels of oil per day pumping through it.
And ** Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced** that “The Straits of Hormuz are open. There’s almost as much oil flowing out now as there was before this conflict began, so (Iran has) lost complete control of the straits. And...the Iranian economy is about to reach a place that few countries in the world have been in terms of how bad it’s going to get.”
Echoing what we said about the Palestinians spending aid money on weapons and terror tunnels, Rubio went on to say this about Iran: “And it’s all the fault...of the radical Shia clerics that make the decisions in that country. They are the ones that have put the poor people of Iran in the situation that they’re in. Because every dollar and every penny that that regime gets, they don’t spend it on roads or bridges or helping improve the lives of the Iranian people. They spend that money on Hezbollah and Hamas and militias that fire rockets out of Iraq and the Houthis.
“...They should have spent their money on their people and instead they spend their money on terrorism and on weapons. So hopefully that’ll change, but yeah, they’ll never have a nuclear weapon.”
France’s leaders have let their nation be taken over by violent leftists and Third World migrants, with the latest result being widespread riots that are ** burning down their schools**.
Fortunately, President Emmanuel Macron knows what the real cause of the problem is: ** Too much American-style free speech**.
Internet users employed their free speech to tell him what they think of him, with the phrase “enormous fool” being one of the kinder comments.
The Wall Street Journal reports that 12 US bombers were moved from the RAF Fairford air base in the UK because intelligence picked up a threat of a potential drone attack by Iran. President Trump ** also told a Fox News interviewer** that he “personally” believes that Iran was behind the attempted terrorist destruction of the FlyDubai jet, but he didn’t offer any details to verify that.
Trump told a rally crowd in Nebraska that we are “kicking Iran’s a**,” and he expects the war to end very soon, either before or right after the midterm elections, and that prices will come tumbling down. He also said that it was a small price to pay to keep Iran from getting nuclear weapons. Unless it helps the Democrats get back into power, then there will be much larger prices for everyone to pay.
To help bring down the cost of diesel fuel, Trump signed an executive order allowing tax-free, red-dyed diesel that’s normally only available to farmers to be sold for highway use through the end of the year. He said this and his deferral of other taxes will save over $100 on the typical trucker’s fill-up.
Thank you for reading the Huckabee Post.
