TRIGGER WARNING: This newsletter contains violent imagery of Inquisition-style executions.
I had planned to finish the week with a review of this week’s newsletters on White Christian Nationalists’ obsession with public executions.

and I will talk about Inquisitions in this Sunday’s edition of Unholy Ground at .
Because White Christian Nationalists are serious about bringing back Inquisition-style public executions. This isn’t some fringe movement of crazies. The “Bring Back the Inquisition” movement contains millions of White Christian Nationalists.
Today, I show what various White Christian Nationalist leaders have said about public executions, and I juxtapose that with contemporaneous imagery from the Inquisitions, a series of religious tribunals that publicly executed people for heresy from the 12th to the 19th centuries.
Pete Hegseth’s “spiritual daddy” Doug Wilson:
Ben Zornes, a Reformed pastor and acolyte of Doug Wilson:
Joshua Haymes, host of the extremist WCN Reformation Red Pill podcast (where Brooks Potteiger, Pete Hegseth’s current pastor, called for the death of Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico:)
Charlie Kirk:
White Christian Nationalist extremist fanatic William Wolfe on Twitter/X:
White Christian Nationalist extremist pastor Robert Jeffress:
Inquisitions were public displays of torture and execution, because the Catholic Inquisitors believed public punishments would deter future dissent.
Burning people at the stake in public was commonplace:
As was stretching and dismembering people on the rack:
And public hangings:
It isn’t a stretch to imagine public beheadings, disembowelments, crucifixions, and other brutal forms of Inquisition as a modern-day public execution by firing squad.
These radicalized extremist White Christian Nationalist fanatics really crave new Inquisitions. They long to be the New Inquisitors.
I’ve said WCNs want New Feudalism. What’s more feudal than bringing back a form of religious public execution that was practiced in Europe for eight centuries? A practice that led our founders to build the separation of church and state into our founding documents?
Please take these WCN New Inquisitor fanatics seriously, Americans. Because they long to execute all who oppose them. Including eventually, each other.
