She also is co-founder of LifeCycle Finance Partners , a risk advisory firm and does extensive public speaking . Allison received her undergraduate degree from the University of Edinburgh and her Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University. Prior to joining the Manhattan Institute, Allison led retirement production innovation at Dimensional Fund Advisors. She consults for the IMF, OECD, and other international organizations.
