There is a strange feeling that comes with having too many things on your mind. You can be doing everything right and still feel like something important is slipping away. A small promise, a detail from an old conversation, something you wanted to check but never did. These are the things that bother us more than the actual work sometimes.
And I think Anthropic has just released something very interesting for this exact problem.
Not another chatbot. Something quite different.
Claude Has Started Looking After Things
A woman testing Anthropic’s new AI agent had a client call booked just before her flight. She hadn’t noticed the problem.
Claude noticed it and offered to move the call.
That’s a small example, but I find it quite interesting. The AI was already paying attention to something its user hadn’t thought to ask about.
On October 21, Anthropic introduced Claude Duet, an AI agent powered by Claude Opus 5.5.
It has its own computer, works across your connected apps, remembers your work, and can keep going while you’re away.
It can also contact you first when something needs your attention.
And with access to more than 6,000 connectors and plugins, it can handle much more than ordinary chat.
The really interesting part is how you set it up. With a few good instructions, you can give Claude a real part of your work to look after, without handing over every decision.
Let’s build that properly.
