‘Consultation process was disrupted by incorrect media reports,’ Fifa says
Fifa has responded to the threat of boycott from European nations with a statement saying that “nobody is selling football”, while blaming the media for disrupting its consultation process over controversial plans to sell chunks of the World Cup to US-based private investment.
After an emergency meeting on Thursday, Uefa member associations agreed to boycott all Fifa tournaments, including World Cups, unless the proposal was abandoned entirely.

It's an annual "weight bonus" worth $250,000, and it's tied to his weight. Now, I know what you're thinking, $250,000 isn't a huge chunk of change in the grand scheme of things, but the Eagles clearly saw this as a significant enough issue to include a specific incentive for Carter to keep his weight in check. They're not saying what the weight limit is or when he needs to meet it, but it's clear they're keeping an eye on it. This is a pretty unusual term, I've never seen it in a veteran contract before, so it'll be interesting to see how it plays out.
