The ‘Mirae Asset NYSE FANG+ETF has returned roughly 32% since January 2025. But an investor who bought that ETF on the exchange in January 2025 would have earned just about 10%. Read that again. The ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) returned 32%. But the investor got 10% only. Same ETF, same period. How is that even possible? The answer is a three-letter word that’s very important to look at when placing an order for an ETF: NAV (Net Asset Value, shown as iNAV). When you invest in an index mutual fund, you hand your money to the asset management company (AMC).

In the context of a geopolitical confrontation with Washington, this idea reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of what US Treasuries actually represent in the global monetary system and of how deeply European financial actors remain embedded in the US dollar funding architecture.

Stop asking AI to be creative. Ask it to be correct
Since ChatGPT launched in 2022, most of us have accidentally fallen into a trap where we ask AI to do the parts of our work that are arguably the most human. We ask artificial intelligence to write our emails for us, to brainstorm new ideas, and to turn scattered ideas into clear plans and strategies. We humans have outsourced the fun, challenging stuff that requires we use our brains, but are still spending enormous amounts of time on the mundane.
Trump Hails Good US-Iran Talks After Annihilation Threat

Trump said the three-hour session was "very productive" and another was being planned for the near future. India Economic Activity Climbs in September, Survey Shows
India’s economic activity accelerated in September, regaining momentum after slowing in recent months as manufacturing climbed to seven-month high and services picked up pace, a flash survey by HSBC Holdings Plc showed Wednesday.
