'Be comfortable in your own identity' - Agassi's advice to Raducanu
As Emma Raducanu plots a route back to the pinnacle of tennis, the Briton has been taking inspiration from Andre Agassi's 2009 autobiography. Five years have passed since Raducanu's remarkable US Open triumph, when at the age of 18 she became the first qualifier in the Open era to win a Grand Slam. American Agassi was a teenage prodigy himself and later claimed the first of his eight major singles titles at Wimbledon in 1992 aged 22.

Wales is gearing up to face Portugal in the Nations League, marking a decade since their memorable Euro 2016 semi-final clash. Hunting hidden gems - is there anywhere in the world left to scout?
The world's biggest clubs were all aware of the teenage sensation turning heads for Universidad de Chile, the one dubbed his generation's Alexis Sanchez. "When we signed Dario Osorio, it was not because no-one knew about him," Kristian Kjaer, technical director at Midtjylland, tells BBC Sport. Osorio was on the radar of AC Milan, RB Leipzig, Salzburg and a number of other English and German clubs before he left Santiago for Denmark at the age of 19. It was a carefully considered pathway.
Can Europe inspire new 'Medinah miracle' at Presidents Cup?
The Presidents Cup is set for a thrilling showdown as the International Team, led by Geoff Ogilvy, aims to break Team USA's long-standing dominance. The U.S. has won the last ten editions, and the pressure is on after a disappointing Ryder Cup performance last year. Brandt Snedeker emphasizes the need for a reset, reminding his team that past successes don’t guarantee future victories.
The International Team, featuring four rookies and only three players in the world’s top 30, is seen as the underdog. Yet, Ryan Fox believes they can draw inspiration from Team Europe's successes, emphasizing the importance of unity and a shared goal. With players from seven different nationalities, they’re ready to embrace the challenge at Medinah.
While Team USA is favored on paper, history shows that anything can happen in these team events. Rory McIlroy hopes for an International victory, which would be a significant moment in golf. The excitement is palpable as the tournament kicks off, and fans are eager to see if the Internationals can pull off the unexpected.

Ferrari set Baku target as Rosberg pinpoints team's repeat flaw
Ferrari is setting its sights on the Azerbaijan Grand Prix this weekend, aiming to turn around a disappointing streak. Team principal Frederic Vasseur emphasized the need for a flawless execution after only one podium finish in the last five races. Despite flashes of speed, like Charles Leclerc's strong performance in Belgium, the team has struggled to capitalize.
Nico Rosberg pointed out Ferrari's ongoing issues with strategy and communication, calling it their "Achilles' heel." He noted that while the car's pace is competitive, the team consistently fails to put together solid weekends. With only nine races left, their hopes of breaking an 18-year title drought are dwindling. The pressure is on as they head to the challenging Baku circuit, where mistakes can be costly.
Alleged victim of Daejon Love says she reported him to 49ers in December 2025
Gwen Herndon claims she alerted the 49ers about Daejon Love back in December 2025, long before the FBI got involved. She filled out a complaint form on the team's website, detailing how Love was impersonating a player and stealing money from women. Herndon specifically mentioned the federal investigation and urged the team to take action to protect their reputation.
A week later, she received a response from Levi's Stadium guest services, acknowledging her report but stating they couldn’t comment on ongoing investigations. They thanked her for her vigilance and encouraged her to contact law enforcement directly if she had more information.
The 49ers have not confirmed this exchange. Love and his alleged accomplice, Taylor Chan, were arrested in August 2026, accused of defrauding over two dozen women out of about $1.3 million. Reports suggest the number of victims could be even higher. If the 49ers were aware of Love's actions and did nothing, it raises significant public relations concerns for the organization.
Brock Bowers is expected to make his season debut Sunday
Raiders tight end Brock Bowers has not played since Dec. 21, 2025. He has played in a win since Sept. 7, 2025, in the season opener. The Raiders are 2-0 without one of their biggest stars. Bowers, though, is expected to make his 2026 debut against the Saints on Sunday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports. He had a meniscus trim procedure earlier this month after injuring his left knee in training camp. It's the same knee that sidelined him with a PCL sprain and bone bruise during the 2025 season. Bowers missed five games last season.
Jerry Jones pushes back on idea of an expansion team in Europe
In recent weeks, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has commented on multiple occasions regarding his "no doubt" belief that the NFL will have multiple teams in other countries — with Europe being the most likely destination. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones doesn't see that happening through expansion of the league. “I don’t know about an expansion," Jones said on 105.3 the Fan in Dallas, via Brandon Contes of Awful Announcing. "I see the games continuing like they are. And I see the ethos, if you will, of the game, the story of the game really expanding all over the world.
