Chicago Bulls announce TV analyst rotation to replace Stacey King
Along with three Chicago Bulls NBA championships, Stacey King became beloved as the franchise’s TV color commentator, a role he held for nearly 20 years until his tragic passing at age 59 in June. King’s seat next to Adam Amin in the CHSN booth is tough for one person to fill, so the Bulls will have a rotating cast of analysts for the 2026-2027 season. The franchise announced Thursday that Amin will be joined on the call this year by Kendall Gill, Robbie Hummel, Will Perdue, Bill Wennington, and Scott Williams.

They have not lost since a 1-0 defeat by Colombia in a 2024 friendly. And the success does not stop with the senior men's team.

Talks between the former Real Madrid manager and the French football authorities kicked off as early as February 2025 - after Zidane's former team-mate Deschamps announced a few weeks earlier he would step down following the 2026 World Cup.

Our son's death could have been prevented by FA - Billy Vigar's parents
"You swing from sadness to anger because you just feel it could have been prevented." That is the view of Camilla Vigar, whose son Billy, a former Arsenal academy player, died a year ago today from a "significant brain injury", five days after colliding with a concrete wall surrounding a pitch. The 21-year-old striker was playing for Chichester City at Wingate and Finchley FC in north London. In their first broadcast interview since their son's passing, the Vigar family accuse the Football Association of doing "nothing" after previous similar incidents.
Today, Worcester and Newcastle are the highlights on Sky Sports Racing. At Worcester, the feature race at 2:05 pits Youdecide against Merely A Detail in a competitive field of twelve. Merely A Detail, trained by Toby Bulgin, comes in unbeaten over fences, while Youdecide, with more experience, looks to bounce back after a solid effort last time out.
Later, at 2:40, Road To Wembley, co-owned by Sir Alex Ferguson, makes his handicap debut in the Copybet Fixed Brush Hurdle Series Final. He’s won three of his four hurdle races and will be a strong contender with Sean Bowen aboard. Other notable runners include Square D'Alboni and Down To Business, both looking to make an impact.
Over at Newcastle, the 5:45 race features One Of The Boys and Brash, both seeking their first career wins. One Of The Boys, trained by Michael Bell, drops to six furlongs after a disappointing outing, while Brash, trained by David and Nicola Barron, has been close in his last two races and could capitalize on any missteps from the favorite.
Earlier in the day at Worcester, five horses will compete in the 1:30 Novices' Limited Handicap Chase, with El Capitaine returning from a break and Turndlightsdownlow hoping to break a streak of near misses. The day wraps up with the 6:15 race at Newcastle, where Dreamed returns after wind surgery, aiming for a better performance. It’s shaping up to be an exciting day of racing!
Matt LaFleur on ugly loss to Falcons: "It was a butt-whooping"
The Packers faced a tough loss against the Falcons, falling 35-14 at Lambeau Field. Coach Matt LaFleur didn’t hold back, calling it a “butt-whooping.” He noted that a roughing the passer call contributed to the Falcons' early scoring, but he avoided discussing it further to steer clear of fines.
LaFleur also addressed the offensive line's struggles but emphasized that blame should be shared across the team. The Packers’ rushing game was nearly non-existent, with just nine attempts for 17 yards, highlighting the absence of starting tailback Josh Jacobs. LaFleur acknowledged the need to improve and put players in better positions moving forward.
Looking ahead, the Packers have some time to regroup before their Week 4 matchup against the Buccaneers, reviving the old NFC Central rivalry. With both teams searching for momentum, it’s a crucial game for Green Bay, now at 1-2.
Mikey Musumeci slammed hard at UFC BJJ but ultimately wins decision over Bryce Mitchell in main event
Mikey Musumeci faced off against Bryce Mitchell in a thrilling main event on Thursday night in Las Vegas. Although Musumeci had multiple opportunities to secure submissions, he ultimately won by unanimous decision after three intense rounds. This match marked a significant step in Musumeci's transition to full-time MMA, showcasing his grappling skills without relying on his signature leg locks.
Despite the crowd's mixed reactions, Musumeci quickly engaged with an anaconda choke and a power guillotine, but Mitchell's defense was impressive. As the match progressed, Mitchell managed to take control in the second round, but Musumeci remained dangerous from the bottom, looking for openings.
In the final round, Mitchell executed a powerful slam, earning a warning from the referee. Musumeci responded with a slick takedown, putting Mitchell in a tough spot, but the bantamweight stayed composed and avoided the submission. After 15 minutes of grappling, both fighters demonstrated their skills, with Musumeci's victory signaling his readiness for the next phase of his MMA career.
