Bitcoin think tank questions MSCI’s ‘invisible committee’ over Strategy, Metaplanet rule
A Bitcoin Policy Institute paper says MSCI’s proposed “non-operating company” rule could remove Strategy and Metaplanet from its indexes and may have roots in an earlier crypto treasury review. A Bitcoin policy think tank has questioned how MSCI developed its latest proposal to tighten the rules governing its market indexes, after the benchmark provider identified companies including Strategy and Metaplanet for potential treatment as “non-operating businesses” and exclusion from its indexes.

Sentora’s Morpho Vaults See Sharp Outflows Amid MetaMask Staking Incident
Sentora's Morpho Vaults experienced a notable outflow, with around $10 million leaving the platform recently. This shift seems tied to the recent MetaMask staking incident, where users faced issues that raised concerns about the security and reliability of staking through the wallet. As a result, many investors are pulling back, opting for safer alternatives or waiting for clarity on the situation.
This kind of movement often signals a cautious approach from the market, as participants reassess their positions in light of potential risks. It’s a reminder that even established platforms can face hiccups that impact user confidence. Keep an eye on how this develops, as it could influence broader sentiment in the DeFi space.

Robinhood to Launch Crypto Perpetual Futures in the US
Customers will be able to go long or short on BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, DOGE, ADA, LINK, and HYPE, and they'll have access to features like stop-loss and take-profit orders, as well as real-time liquidation price tracking. Robinhood's also introducing an AI tool to help customers create strategies and trade within preset limits.
The move is part of a broader push into derivatives, with other companies like Coinbase and Bybit also exploring similar products. Bybit, for example, just introduced forex perpetuals with up to 100x leverage. It's worth noting that perpetual futures carry funding costs and liquidation risks, so traders will need to be mindful of those factors.

Near Protocol (NEAR), Hyperliquid (HYPE), Ethereum (ETH) and XRP Price Analysis for October 1: Unexpected Turnaround on Crypto Market
NEAR is holding strong above $5.00, currently at $5.27, but it’s getting a bit stretched after a 100% rise since August. The recent launch of Bitwise's spot NEAR ETF is a nice boost, but watch for a potential correction if it can’t break past $5.40-$5.50.
HYPE is correcting from its September highs, trading around $86.14. It needs to hold above $85-$86 to maintain its broader uptrend. The momentum has shifted a bit, so keep an eye on this support level.
Ethereum is consolidating around $2,700 after a solid run-up. It needs to reclaim $2,750-$2,800 for the next leg up, but losing $2,650 could bring it back to $2,450-$2,500.
XRP is at $1.52, having broken above a key resistance line. It’s crucial for it to hold above $1.50 to keep the bullish trend alive. A drop below that could lead to a deeper retracement.
