Crypto must cement adoption to withstand US policy shifts: Canton CEO
In the same Token2049 panel, Binance co-CEO Richard Teng said he hoped the CLARITY Act would still become law, arguing that legislation could prevent regulatory backtracking and encourage institutions to enter the market. He described the possibility of reversing current progress as “the biggest fear” for the industry. Meanwhile, Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson said legislation would provide greater certainty but cautioned that the industry should not rely on the CLARITY Act passing.

The site you were visiting is protected by a security service that blocks suspicious activity. When you performed a certain action—like submitting a particular word, phrase, SQL command, or malformed data—the service flagged it and stopped your request.
The block is a normal part of the site’s defense. It’s designed to keep attackers from exploiting vulnerabilities or flooding the server with bad requests. If you’re a legitimate user who got caught in the net, the service gives you a simple way to get help.
You can email the site owner to let them know you were blocked. In your message, tell them exactly what you were doing when the block appeared and paste the Cloudflare Ray ID that’s displayed at the bottom of the page. That ID helps the support team trace the incident and figure out why it happened.
Once they receive your note, they can review the logs, adjust the security rules if needed, and hopefully get you back on the site. In the meantime, double‑check that you’re not accidentally triggering any filters—sometimes a typo or a copy‑paste from a forum can look suspicious to the system.
Phemex Card Bridges the Last Mile Between Crypto and Everyday Spending
“Utility” has almost become a cliché in crypto, especially when it comes to payment cards. Phemex is one of the many exchanges launching a Mastercard, but it’s trying to address a real-world usage problem instead of just promising Cashback tiers and airport lounge perks like most products. With most prepaid crypto cards, you still need to move funds into a separate card balance before heading out. Having money on an exchange does not necessarily mean your card has enough to cover the bill. Phemex card removes that inconvenience.
AI Could Damage Crypto in 2 Years, Warns Ethereum's Vitalik Buterin
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin warned that AI-driven mathematical breakthroughs could weaken lattice-based cryptography within two years. They could also break the Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) behind Bitcoin and ETH wallets sooner than expected. Buterin did not urge panic, however, and said nobody should rush to move funds today. He was replying to Ethereum researcher Justin Drake, who wants the industry to plan for a “bunker mode.” Buterin said most people have assumed elliptic curves are vulnerable while hashes and lattices stay safe.
Cardano's New Standard Lets Issuers Freeze and Seize Tokens: Is Your ADA Safe?
On October 7, the Cardano Foundation announced the mainnet launch of CIP-0113, a native token standard that lets issuers freeze, seize, and restrict assets directly on-chain. The standard targets regulated assets, and its freeze and seizure powers raise fair questions about control. What CIP-0113 Means for Cardano Tokens CIP-0113 is a Cardano Improvement Proposal that creates a native token standard with built-in compliance controls. Issuers can freeze holdings, seize assets, restrict recipients, and apply KYC, AML, and sanctions checks. They can also set transfer restrictions.
Tokenized Securities Firm KoreInside Targets Ethereum, Solana And Avalanche With New Web3 Partnership
TL;DR: KoreInside and Digital Motion have formed a partnership designed to help issuers move regulated tokenized securities onto public blockchains including Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche and Base. The collaboration combines securities compliance infrastructure with the technical systems needed to deploy and operate assets on-chain. Putting a security on a blockchain is the easy part. Keeping all of the rules attached to that security intact after it gets there is considerably harder. KoreInside and Digital Motion have announced a partnership aimed at solving that second problem.
