Authored by David Harsanyi via The Epoch Times, One of the most unheralded policy successes of President Donald Trump's second term has been the purging of many unnecessary federal jobs. Not since President Lyndon Johnson's Great Society vastly expanded the scope of the national government has the federal workforce been at this level. It's not merely that the feds have shed superfluous jobs - there are still over 4 million contract workers, after all.

Starbucks explored buying Chipotle, reports the Financial Times
Starbucks’s secret menu could get a generous helping of barbacoa. The coffee chain—in the midst of a massive turnaround effort—has explored a takeover of Chipotle, according to the Financial Times. A merger would unite two wildly different fast-casual chains and constitute the largest restaurant buyout in history. This would be venti. If Starbucks bought the $41 billion burrito chain, it would create a new company with roughly $50 billion in sales, as of last year. Chipotle could benefit from Starbucks’s massive footprint, especially abroad.
