Brewers-Rays final score: Milwaukee dominates to take a 3-0 World Series lead
The Milwaukee Brewers dominated Game 3 of the World Series, defeating the Tampa Bay Rays 10-1 and taking a commanding 3-0 lead in the series. The Rays hoped a change of venue would spark their offense, but it was the Brewers who made a powerful statement. They capitalized on an eight-run inning, showcasing their offensive depth without hitting a single home run.
Freddy Peralta, the ALCS MVP, started for the Rays and managed to hold off Milwaukee early, but the Brewers broke through in the third with RBI singles from Christian Yelich and William Contreras. The real turning point came in the fifth inning when a controversial play at second base allowed the Brewers to extend the inning. They took full advantage, scoring eight runs on seven consecutive hits with two outs.
Milwaukee's starter, Robert Gasser, was impressive, allowing just one run over six innings while keeping the Rays' offense in check. Jackson Chourio shined with four hits and two runs scored, while Contreras added three hits of his own. Every Brewer in the starting lineup contributed, with all nine scoring at least once.
With this win, the Brewers are on the verge of their first championship. They’ve put themselves in a strong position, as no team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit in World Series history. Game 4 is set for Tuesday, and both teams are yet to announce their starting pitchers.

The No Fun League is also the No Footwear League. More specifically, no footwear made by companies that don't pay the league. Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the league has fined Bears quarterback Caleb Williams $11,941 for displaying an "unauthorized logo" on his shoes during the Week 6 win over the Falcons in Atlanta. Williams was wearing Caddix cleats, which do not have a deal with the NFL for the use of its shoes in NFL games.
NFL announces Jay-Z as the Super Bowl LXI halftime act
As expected, the selection of Super Bowl halftime show producer Jay-Z to perform at halftime of Super Bowl LXI at SoFi Stadium is . . . Jay-Z. The NFL made the announcement at halftime of Monday night's Cowboys-Eagles game. “For several years, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with Jay-Z and Roc Nation, and I’ve seen the extraordinary impact he has had on the Super Bowl Halftime Show,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement.

John Harbaugh defends Cam Skattebo's helmet-lowering technique
On Sunday, Giants running back Cam Skattebo drew a rare flag for impermissible use of the helmet. On Monday, Giants coach John Harbaugh defended Skattebo's technique. "I'm quite sure [Skattebo is] not trying to use his helmet as a weapon, as a battering ram," Harbaugh told reporters, via Jordan Raanan of ESPN. "It's not the way he's thinking. He's leading with his shoulder. That's what he's trying to do. . . . So, I didn't have a problem with the technique personally at all, but we haven't heard from the league.
Monday Night Football: Cowboys run past Eagles 38-21
The Cowboys saved their season, at least for another week, and the Eagles' postseason hopes took a huge hit Monday night. Dallas beat Philadelphia 38-21 to end a two-game losing streak and move to 3-4. The Eagles, who are decimated by injuries, have lost five in a row to fall to 2-5. They started the game without quarterback Jalen Hurts and wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks, among others, and finished it without running backs Saquon Barkley and Dameon Pierce. Barkley, who was returning after missing two games with a hamstring injury, left with a back injury.
Dez Bryant wants a full investigation following a Sunday citation for assault
Dez Bryant is calling for a full investigation after being cited for assault following a confrontation on Sunday. He shared his side of the story, claiming a man threatened him during a traffic incident, which escalated when he knocked the man's phone out of his hand. In response, the man, Noah Reyes, recorded the altercation and threatened to call the police.
When officers arrived, they drew their guns on Bryant, who was with his daughters and girlfriend at the time. The police acted on reports of a possible weapon and temporarily detained several individuals. Ultimately, Bryant received a citation for Assault by Contact, a Class C misdemeanor, and is due in court on November 20. Reyes, the other party involved, plans to sue Bryant for an injury to his hand.
Saquon Barkley is questionable to return with back injury
This follows his earlier absence due to a right hamstring injury, which kept him out for two games. He was visibly in pain throughout the night, marking his third injury this season, including a stinger he dealt with earlier.
Before getting hurt, Barkley had a solid performance with seven carries for 62 yards and a touchdown, along with two catches for 9 yards, playing just 10 snaps. The Eagles are now in a tough spot, trailing by 10 points against the Cowboys. Dallas just capped off a 78-yard drive with a 24-yard field goal from Brandon Aubrey, putting more pressure on Philadelphia as they navigate this challenging game without their star running back.
The Cowboys orchestrated a 61-yard drive in nine plays, showing resilience by converting two critical third downs. A defensive holding penalty on Riq Woolen kept the drive alive, allowing Prescott to keep things moving. Overall, he’s completed 14 of 25 passes for 206 yards and three touchdowns, adding a 2-point conversion to extend the lead to seven. It’s shaping up to be an exciting finish!
Eagles take 21-20 lead on Cowboys to open second half
The Eagles have taken a 21-20 lead against the Cowboys, thanks to rookie Makai Lemon's first NFL touchdown, a 4-yard catch from Tanner McKee. This came right after Jake Elliott's successful extra point.
After receiving the second-half kickoff, the Eagles executed a strong drive, covering 84 yards in 17 plays and chewing up 9:16 of the clock. They were efficient, converting four out of five third downs and even managing a fourth-down conversion on the one they didn’t convert.
As it stands, the Eagles have racked up 238 total yards. McKee is performing well, completing 14 of 22 passes for 129 yards and that touchdown to Lemon, who has five catches for 54 yards. Meanwhile, Saquon Barkley is making his presence felt, handling the ball on every play he’s been on the field, with seven carries for 62 yards and two catches for 9 yards.
