On 10 October 2025, Crypto experienced the largest liquidation event in its history
More than $19 billion in leveraged positions were liquidated within 24 hours
The market entered the event following an extreme build-up in leverage, with total derivatives open interest having reached an all-time high of $230 billion during September
Almost $60 billion of open interest was then wiped out during the liquidation event
This was not simply a date on a calendar
It was a specific set of market conditions
The binary code simply translates to:

But already we’re seeing the speculation begin - with 10/10/2025 being referenced and fear and speculation are already building around the possibility of another major liquidation event
