Laura Ingraham and Jesse Watters have spent 2026 warning viewers about communism and socialism. Days later, they joined billionaires and Washington insiders at a state dinner honoring Xi Jinping.
For months, Fox News hosts Laura Ingraham and Jesse Watters have warned viewers about communists and socialists gaining influence in American politics. On Sept. 24, both were guests at a White House state dinner honoring Xi Jinping, China’s president and general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party.
The Washington Post reported that Bret Baier, Ingraham and Watters were among the guests. Baier, Fox News’s chief political anchor, hosts “Special Report with Bret Baier” and occupies a different role at the network from the two prime-time commentators.
Rachel Campos-Duffy, a co-host of “Fox & Friends Weekend,” was also present alongside her husband, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.
The dinner capped a day of formal ceremony for Xi.
The White House said the Chinese president was welcomed with an official state arrival ceremony before joining President Trump and first lady Melania Trump for dinner in the East Room. Official delegations, government officials and business leaders attended.
The guest list underscored the economic stakes.
Chief Justice John Roberts attended alongside some of the most prominent figures in global technology, including Tesla’s Elon Musk, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, Apple’s Tim Cook, Nvidia’s Jensen Huang and Microsoft’s Satya Nadella.
