Jeremy “GERM” Hales assembled a packed livestream grid resembling the cheapest game show never licensed for television: the Halesverse edition of Shitty Hollywood Squares.
The squares offered nicknames, body-shaming, personal speculation, cocaine pantomime, ominous countdown theater, and a promised bombshell involving Lisa Lee, John Cook, Michelle Preston, and their lawyers. What they apparently did not offer was a clear new court ruling, authenticated evidence, or a coherent explanation of the federal proceedings they were supposedly covering.
Lisa Lee and Robbie Keszey brought the response show. Richard Luthmann brought the legal scalpel. Super Dave brought firsthand experience with what happens when commentary channels leave opinion behind and begin publishing damaging claims about real people as fact.
At approximately 25:43, Super Dave reads from an AI-assisted review of Hales’ broadcast. The assessment characterizes much of the program as ridicule, speculative gossip, threatening theater, and promotion. It does not identify a clear physical threat or direct instruction to contact anyone. That distinction matters. The panel discusses intimidation and reputational pressure while separating those concerns from claims the available analysis did not support.
Then the real bombshell hit the docket.
During the live broadcast, Luthmann located creditor Jeremy Hales’ opposition to Lee’s Motion to Quash and the affidavit of process server Mark Newby. Lee says the affidavit’s account conflicts with her recollection, her husband’s account, contemporaneous photographs, other witnesses, and security-camera footage. Those are Lee’s allegations. No court has determined that Newby committed perjury or that attorney Randall “Randy” Shochet knowingly submitted anything false.
The affidavit says Newby spoke with Lee, understood that her husband would be present, discussed substitute service with Shochet, and later left the subpoena papers on Lee’s patio table after her husband refused to accept them. Lee denies authorizing delivery to her husband. She says Newby previously told her the legal documents had to be delivered directly to her. Lee’s formal objections to the subpoena challenge service as well as relevance, proportionality, burden, privacy, and the demand’s scope.
The panel also identifies a timeline it considers significant. Newby signed the affidavit on July 31, 2026. According to the documents reviewed on air, it was not filed until August 23, after Lee disputed service and requested supporting information. Luthmann characterizes that delay and the alleged failure to provide the affidavit during conferral as potential bad faith or “sharp practice.” Those are arguments and commentary, not adjudicated findings.
The legal dispute turns on Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 45. Rule 4 expressly permits certain forms of substitute service at a dwelling. Rule 45 contains no comparable abode-service language. Courts disagree about whether Rule 45 invariably requires personal hand-to-hand delivery, but Lee argues that leaving papers with a resisting spouse or on a patio table did not satisfy the rule.
The show started as a roast of the Halesverse’s Shitty Hollywood Squares. It ended as a live docket examination involving disputed service, a contested affidavit, potential video impeachment, Rule 45, audience intimidation, and the difference between internet theater and evidence.
