Hey friends, as I was digging through some old boxes looking for goodness knows what, I found one of my cards from back in the 1980s when I was on active duty and assigned to the 6th Infantry Division (Arctic Light), working as an Army prosecutor (“Trial Counsel”).
It’s funny how you can see something from decades ago and instantly the memories come flooding back about the great people with whom you served.
I'll never forget my fellow Army JAG officers, the Staff Judge Advocate (SJA) under whom I served (and to whom I owe much), the NCOs and enlisted soldiers who are, and will always be, the backbone of the United States Army, the many court-martial cases I prosecuted, and the beauty and grandeur of the Alaskan wilderness.
For a career prosecutor, the Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps was the perfect place to start.
I look forward to a time in the near future when the civilian leadership is no longer disrespecting and needlessly endangering the men and women of our armed forces.
