I’m going to see how many crises I can list off the top of my head that are damaging to Donald Trump.

Earlier today, Donald Trump decided to rename Lake Ontario as Lake America. This is part of his escalating, nonsensical, self-destructive trade war with neighbor and ally Canada. Howard Lutnick, his Secretary of Commerce and fellow Epstein enthusiast, argued for demolishing the Kennedy Center unless Trump is allowed to put his name on the historic building.
Due to the illegal and failed war in Iran, the United States might face a food shortage in 2027 and is already reeling from higher gas prices. Now, The Washington Post is reporting that Putin, an enemy of America, has said this disastrous war has hurt and weakened America.
But America doesn’t need enemies to destroy itself, because we have the MAGA movement that has dismantled our FDA and CDC. Measles is now great again, vaccine hesitancy is on the rise, and there’s a parasite causing explosive diarrhea that has already killed seven people. There are major food recalls due to salmonella and contamination.
But what about anti-semitism?!? Yes, it’s springtime for Nazis and white supremacists. A former staffer for GOP candidate Mike Collins posted Nazi and KKK images, because of course. Will AIPAC and ADL be all over this? No, because we have to talk 24-7 about progressive streamer Hasan Piker and ensure every Democrat condemns him for things he hasn’t said.
We’re seeing the incestuous ecosystem of DC and NYC where corporate media works in tandem with donors and the political elite to promote certain narratives above others. It’s completely unfair and unbalanced, with a manufactured “both sides” equivalence that only elevates right-wing talking points.
