I left legacy media to build something different: independent, honest political analysis with no corporate or partisan agenda.

Know what’s better than ANY poll when it comes to understanding the state of a race? What the candidates are doing and saying as the election draws close.
And if you look at what Republican candidates in competitive races are saying and doing with 40 days left before the midterms, you quickly realize this: They are panicked and trying to get away from President Donald Trump as fast as they possibly can.
In just the last week, three Senate candidates in swing seats — Ashley Hinson in Iowa, Jon Husted in Ohio and Mike Rogers in Michigan — have all called for an end to the war in Iran and for taking a series of action to immediately lower prices.
And then there’s this from Ad Impact and CNN: Of the more than 500 unique ads run by Republicans and Republican-aligned super PACs between Sept. 1 and Sept. 14, only 12 commercials mentioned Trump in ANY way.
Do the math: That’s .2% of the TOTAL ads run in the first two weeks of September by GOP candidates and organizations.
That’s NOTHING. And speaks — far more than any poll — to just how badly Republicans are trying to memory-hole the unpopular president of their party.
My friend and I hashed this all out today in our weekly Thursday chat!
We also talked about what Trump is good at (and what he is terrible at), Mary Peltola as a bad boss and what happens when the dog doesn’t like the dog food.
