Cold feet stimulate the sympathetic nervous system - your body’s “fight or flight” mode. You don’t want that when you’re eating and relaxing.
So keep your feet warm during meals to activate your parasympathetic nervous system, and shift into your body’s “rest and digest” mode.
This promotes full-body relaxation and stabilizes IBS.
Warm feet = a calmer gut!
