That’s enough water to:
Gently hydrate your digestive tract
Support stomach acid and enzyme function
Relax smooth muscle activity in the gut to reduce spasms and allow food to move smoothly
So drink water before, instead of during, meals to give your gut and your digestion a head start.

You are not alone.
