I’ll be honest about something. I usually delete a lot before I publish, especially something personal and off the cuff…whether it’s a post or comment. I type it out, I feel it, and then I pull it back because I know what I’m building and I know what sloppy costs me. I stay diplomatic because that’s what my work requires. Because sourced, documented, airtight is harder to dismiss than fury posting. Because I’ve watched people throw away good arguments by losing control of them.
Not today. Not right now. Right now…it’s fast, furious fingers.
For two and a half years, we’ve been watching something that should be impossible. The hatred of Jews has outweighed the safety of children. It’s outweighed protections for the elderly and for minorities who should, by any reasonable logic, recognize where this road ends. It’s overridden what most of us assumed were the settled values of Western civilization.
That’s what’s happening, in real time, in countries that still call themselves free. For now.
The indoctrination has gone so deep that people are marching, week after week, in active support of this radical ideology that would dismantle every freedom they’ve ever taken for granted. Not inconvenience it. Dismantle it. Obliterate it. They would choose a world governed by jihad and jump in on the ambition of a global caliphate over a world that includes 15.7 million Jews. People who have never gone a single day without their rights are lining up to surrender them…as long as the Jews go first. And I keep waiting for someone in that crowd to stop, look around, and ask themselves what the fk they’re actually doing.
Our institutions aren’t doing better. They issue statements. They convene panels. They offer language carefully designed to offend no one and protect no one. Leaders talk. Organizations talk. Committees are formed and reports are written and absolutely nothing changes for the people being targeted. The gap between what is being said from podiums and what is happening on the ground has never been wider. And the people widening it know exactly what they’re doing. Twiddling thumbs has never looked so official.
Jews aren’t going anywhere. We’re not the threat we’ve been cast as, and no amount of repetition makes a lie true. We aren’t doing anything to you. Not a thing. The charges being leveled at Jews today belong, historically and documentably, somewhere else entirely.
It wasn’t Jews who expanded by conquest across three continents during the Ottoman Empire. It was an Islamic empire. It wasn’t Jews who built and sustained one of the largest slave trades in human history. The Arab slave trade is a documented, centuries-long historical fact. It isn’t Jews carrying out knife attacks in European cities or driving vehicles into crowds of civilians. Those attacks have been carried out, repeatedly and explicitly, in the name of Radical Islam.
These aren’t my opinions, they’re literally the historical record. They’re in court documents and news archives and academic histories that nobody pushing the current inversion of reality wants you to read. And, I’m not sure you would anyway.
Everything being pinned on Jews right now, the land theft, the violence, the manipulation, take a long look at who that description actually fits. The record is there. It doesn’t move because you’d prefer it to.
And if the mass psychology behind all of this wasn’t so genuinely disturbing and dangerous, it would be one of the most fascinating case studies in modern history. How an entire movement was built on projection this total, this sustained, and this effective. We’ll get there eventually. The documentation is already being written.
Western leaders are accelerating this. Across Europe, governments are protecting the people terrorizing their citizens instead of the citizens themselves. And we’ve spent two and a half years debating which side of the political spectrum owns this hatred, the left or the right, as if the answer still matters when both roads end at the same destination.
But here’s what I can’t get out of my head today.
One “strain” of this hatred isn’t new. It isn’t some political grievance born from a news cycle or a land dispute. It is ancient. It has survived every empire that tried to use it and every civilization that assumed it couldn’t happen to them. And it is that “strain”…and specifically that one that the people now rallying in its defense would have told you they despised before October 7th, 2023.
Because this radical ideology they’re now aligning with would have every single one of them executed or erased. Gay men thrown from rooftops. Women stripped of autonomy and agency. Atheists given the choice between conversion and death. Artists, musicians, writers, anyone who has ever worn the wrong thing or loved the wrong person or asked the wrong question in public.
They knew this before October 7th. They said they knew it. They would have told you, loudly, that Radical Islamist theocracy was among the most dangerous forces on earth.
And then something didn’t shift so much as it got redirected. The hatred of Jews turned out to be strong enough to override everything else, including their own survival instincts.
That’s what’s filling me up today. Not grief or despair. Rage…fury at the sheer waste of it. At how far gone you have to be to march yourself toward your own destruction and call it justice.
