One of the most dismaying aspects of Tuesday’s election outcome was the astoundingly huge margin of victory achieved by even some of the most radical and downright crazy (yes, crazy) socialists who have ever run for office in this country. Though we’re already seeing the expected evidence of cheating in selected heavily-blue areas, where additional Democrat votes wouldn’t be conspicuous, wins on the left were sometimes by a staggering 20 or 30 percentage points, even in Texas. This is perplexing at a time when most Americans are of a vastly different mind over a number of key issues, at least as polls have shown.
Do THAT many voters really support filling the legislature with commie lunatics because they’re weary of Trump’s back-and-forth on Iran and aren’t happy with the current price of gas? It’s not as if the House and Senate got to run foreign policy.
