Hi everyone In case you missed my "Live Q&A from Kyiv” on Wednesday, I’ve attached it right here. I briefed on my impressions for the first 48 hours of my stay. Lots of good questions too, so do go and check it out.

Hi everyone

Yesterday and today, I attend the Kyiv Security Forum. Lots of takeaways from there too, which I will brief you on asap. I’ll try to do it tonight, but I can’t promise. As some of you would have seen already, suddenly we had the former head of Ukrainian military intelligence (GUR), Kyrylo Budanov in da house. For intelligence professionals it doesn’t get much bigger than that. Budanov is credited with some of the most spectacular intelligence operations, e.g. Op Spider Web. What a legend!
Now, obviously Budanov is the head of Zelensky’s office, so very much involved in politics, not least the “negotiations” with the Russians.
What a lot of people fail to understand is that this war can only really have one end state: Ukraine will survive and in terms of conventional military it will be the strongest in Europe. That means Ukraine wins. When the war will end and what will eventually be negotiated let’s see, but there won’t be any surrender or recognition of Russian gains. That is straight from the horse’s mouth, Budanov.
I’ll tell you much more about it later.
