In case you missed it, Abdul El-Sayed is opposed to federal breast cancer research. The Democrats’ candidate wants federal money spent for trans surgeries for minors, but thinks funding breast cancer research is “disturbing” and breast cancer really only impacts people with “social power and privilege.”
My wife got a double mastectomy just after we were married because of the massive rate of breast cancer in her family. We had no privilege at the time and those in her family who died of breast cancer, including her mother, did not have social power.
El-Sayed’s Imam is also out praising terrorists, particularly Hamas. His mosque has been scrubbing videos so he does not become an issue. The Washington Free Beacon has been doing great work on this.
El-Sayed is too radical for Washington and he and his socialist friends are screaming about racism and Islamophobia to distract from his own friends, centers of influence, and words.
"If I weren't an epidemiologist, it would have me believing that the women around me were in imminent danger," said El-Sayed, who asserted that the significant funding for breast cancer created problems "for equity in health research allocation" by prioritizing funding for diseases that affect people with "social power and privilege."
I think we need to keep the focus on dangerous candidates like El-Sayed, which is why I think the GOP needs to vocally push back against racism on its own side like that of Bo French. If we’re allowing guys like that to fester on our side, it makes it vastly easier for people like El-Sayed to claim we’re just racists opposed to him as opposed to not wanting a terror sympathizer in the Senate.
And that leads me back to Texas.
