Many journalists did not bother to read P2025, let alone report on it or take it seriously. Those same journalists are now outraged that the regime is doing exactly what it said it would do.

A “romantic comedy” that imagines what the US would be like if everyone was chipped and could only have extra-marital sex one night per year.

The framers of Project 2025 dealt with the problem of a combative press. Favored journalists are told what they can and cannot ask the President and his staff. They are expected to recount all answers in glowing verbatim, even when they contradict proven facts. Any remaining journalists who ask inconvenient questions are nasty and *low-IQ people *and fake news, pretexts that are being used to ban those outlets altogether.
Jeff Bezos gutted the Washington Post before the election and personally intervened in editorial choices. The Ellisons bought CBS News and hired Bari Weiss to destroy it. They are similarly pursuing CNN in the above-referenced Warner Brothers/Paramount deal that would give three repressive Arabic countries a 49% stake in US news and entertainment. At the same time, the regime has aggressively sued both domestic and foreign news outlets over reporting undear leader doesn’t like, causing many news outlets to adjust their messages out of fear.
