We are now at Course 4 of our Top AI Tools series. So far, I have covered n8n, Ollama and OpenRouter. Today I want to add another tool to that list: Hugging Face. You may already know the name. You may even have opened it many times. But I think a lot of AI users are still using only a very small part of what is sitting there.
And this is probably the right time to learn it.

That number alone is a little crazy.
Hugging Face crossed 3 million public models in August 2026. Its ecosystem also contains around 1 million datasets and well over 1 million working AI apps called Spaces. Even more interesting: Hugging Face says AI agents have now become the number-one user of the Hub.
That tells us where AI is going.
New models are appearing too quickly to remember them all. Image models, coding models, speech models, small local models, embedding models, video models, reasoning models. Some become popular for a month. Others quietly become part of thousands of products.
So the useful skill is no longer knowing the name of every new model.
It is knowing where to find the right one when you need it, how to test it quickly, and how to put it inside your own work.
That is where Hugging Face becomes extremely useful.
