Greetings all. Excited to share a recording from the live interview we completed today with Dr. Amish Shah, our impressive candidate running in AZ-01. AZ-01 is one of our most important pick-up opportunities in the country - and also among the most expensive.
Here are a few excerpts from our discussion today:
To your point about things being different on the ground — I ran in 2024, and we came up a little short; the environment just wasn’t great for us. This time, it’s night and day. People have really had it with the guy in the White House, and they’re letting us know on the doors when we’re knocking. It’s simple stuff — the lives of the people out there have been adversely affected by the White House.
……The tariffs — in my district, a very business-heavy district, unpredictability and uncertainty of these tariffs - on, off, on, off - has just wrecked the economy and the business community, raising prices for everybody. People can see that. Obviously. And it materially hurts their lives.
……
Our biggest focus, since I’ve been running, has been to go out and actually speak with people, build deep relationships with the community. What I’m known for in the state of Arizona is being a prolific door-knocker — I’ve personally knocked on 28,000 doors in the Phoenix heat, and that means you become real. You’re not just somebody [people] see in a commercial on television. That has meant so much to the people of this district — not just the three dozen Democrats who’ve endorsed me, but also four former Republican state legislators, and the Arizona Independent Party, as well as three law enforcement organizations.
They understand I’ve worked really hard, practically, bipartisan, and effectively, to make a real difference in the lives of the voters.
In this interview, and in many others, we keep hearing the same thing - that there is a deep yearning in the public in this time of oligarchical abandonment and betrayal for admirable leaders with proven track records of service to their community, who can be trusted to fight for them and not go “Washington” and enrich themselves. Enter Dr. Shah. A still practicing emergency room physician, introducing himself to the community by knocking on doors, talking, listening, being present. He won a very tough primary and we can see why - for this profile, and how he is running, is what people are looking for this cycle - leaders of strong character and a proven commitment to serve others and not themselves.

Dr. Amish Shah is an emergency medicine doctor and former member of the Arizona House of Representatives with a proven track record of getting things done and standing up to protect our rights and freedoms.
Dr. Shah resoundingly won three straight elections for the Arizona State House of Representatives in 2018, 2020, and 2022. In his five years at the State Legislature, Dr. Shah focused on increasing teacher pay, supporting small businesses, and improving public health and safety. He had more bills signed into law than any Arizona Democrat in the last decade.
