So Trump won’t send his emissaries to Europe tomorrow if he feels “they’re wasting their time”. In Trump’s world of “alternative realities” that statement is nothing out of the ordinary. However, folks who are concerned about real realities need to understand that the whole peace masquerade is a waste of Ukraine’s and Europe’s time and worst of all waste of Ukrainian blood. I have a feeling Trump might dispatch Rubio to Europe tomorrow to throw even more sand into the eyes of Ukraine and the Europeans.
In the best case scenario Trump would spend his time on his new ballroom, get the hell out of European affairs and sell us whatever Ukraine needs to defend itself without the present a 10% overhead. As I’ve said before, the peace masquerade is serving Putin’s interest by keeping Ukraine and Europe on the back foot. Unfortunately, there is a risk that he will move ahead with his ultimate goal of normalising economical relations with Russia. On that issue, as Europeans, we can only hope and pray!
Unfortunately, getting the hell out of European affairs is not what’s in the NatSec Strategy. That’s a blueprint for subversive influence in Europe with the aim of spreading MAGA and breaking up the EU. In reality it puts in black and white what the US is doing already. I have open source evidence of what the Trump administration has been doing until now in my upcoming book, so I just wonder what my former intelligence colleagues could dig out through clandestine means…it wouldn’t be pretty!
Talking about clandestine means, my former service, the Danish Defence Intelligence Service, came out with their annual public assessment on Wednesday, where the US is labelled as a potential threat. Actually, the assessment is quite diplomatic and politically watered down, when you compare it to what’s already taking place.
