Last Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, Muslim terrorists attacked a church in Karak, Jordan, killing and injuring Christians during funeral prayers:
St George’s Church, which was attacked, is located in the village of Hamoud in Karak governorate, known for its medieval-era castle.
Armed men stormed the church compound during a funeral procession on Friday, killing nine people and wounding at least 34 others.
Security camera footage of the attack circulated online. Video broadcast by Al-Mamlaka TV showed three people shooting outside the church and running towards its entrance.
Other footage showed the attackers opening fire on a group of men trying to flee outside the building.
The terrorists also provided their 𝕏rationale for the attack:
Allahu Akbar, and glory belongs to Allah. We have brutally punished the Christians of Karak in revenge for Islam and the Islamic State. Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar!
Perhaps this is the greatest oddity of all —why and how do Muslims want to be avenged on Christians mourning their dead?
And “for Islam and the Islamic State”?
Believe it or not, Muslim terrorists are *notorious *for offering any number of pretexts—many of which border on the absurd—to justify their cowardly targeting and murdering of the Christian minorities in their midst.
For example, ISIS cited similar “grievances” to justify its grisly slaughter of 21 Christians—20 Copts and one Ghanaian—on the shores of Libya in 2015. An article in Dabiq, the Islamic State’s online magazine in English, titled “Revenge for the Muslimat [Muslim women] Persecuted by the Coptic Crusaders of Egypt,” claimed that the 21 Christians were slaughtered in “revenge” for two Coptic women who, back in 2010 and according to Islamic propaganda, were compelled by Egypt’s Coptic Orthodox Church to recant their voluntary conversion to Islam and return to Christianity.
But why should Christians in Libya—or Christians praying in a church in Jordan—pay with their lives for such alleged “offenses”? The answer becomes clearer when the terrorists themselves explain what their victims have actually done wrong.
