Morning all. There is a lot going on today, and I will do my best to capture it all in this limited space.
Today is No Kings Early Vote day. You can catch my remarks at 1230pm ET today at a Stand Up For Science virtual, accessible rally by heading here.
Here’s my main message today - we have done many remarkable things together these past three and a half years fellow patriots. Now, today, and in these next few weeks, we must do everything we can to drive and celebrate the early vote. I explain why early voting is so important in this post:
But the bottom line is this - voting early makes it more likely we win and harder for them to cheat. Period.
We need far more social media and events like this:
Here’s the remarkable video from this post, sound on! Yes, we can do this people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Send photos and links of your events to community@hopiumchronicles.com and good luck today everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We must drive the early vote with great urgency because Trump and his enablers are putting America and the world in grave danger. This week we got two inflation reports that showed inflation soaring. Brent crude hit $110 a barrel yesterday and starts today at $109. Soaring inflation and higher interest rates are weakening the balance sheets of our government and governments throughout the developed world, pushing us closer to a global financial crisis. The war in the Middle East is widening and Russia-Iran-China are in a far stronger position today in the region due to Trump’s ongoing compromise and buffoonery. His regime has descended into Olympian levels of chaos and infighting, with savage leaking, the ascendance of Natalie, even deep loyalists getting thrown under the bus, and of course the ongoing firing of prominent women and the coddling of Hegsethian men.
But it is what is now happening with Russia that should create enormous urgency to our work to win these elections and make them a clear and unequivocal repudiation of Trump and his historic betrayal of the country and the American people. I am not going to spend time on the latest events this morning for time and space reasons but I am sharing this post from David Frum. The Putin advisor who has been meeting with Kushner and Witkoff posted this image of the US and Russia now together fighting the UK and Europe:
We must act with great urgency my friends. Trump is a monster, a world-altering venal, traitorous, monster who is attempting to throw the West, freedom and democracy, the America of the Four Freedoms, into the dustbin of history.
The single most important thing we can do to stop him is to ignore the noise, go to work, drive the early vote, run up the score, support our candidates and state parties, and turn this election into a humiliating rout. That’s what we need to do now, fellow patriots, and yes that means it also time to……
Two things you can do today in addition to supporting our intrepid candidates and state parties:
