Peter Coy -- the NY Times Top Economics Analyst Talks Economics Matters Larry Kotlikoff Feb 23, 2024 1 Share Transcript When it comes to writing incisively about all things economics or even just tangentially economics, Peter Coy is simply the best. I learn something new and important each time I read his writings. Peter writes for the Opinion section of The New York Times. And his newsletter for Times subscribers appears three times a week. Before joining the Times in 2021, Peter spent over three decades writing for BusinessWeek and its successor, Bloomberg Businessweek. This was preceded by a stint with the AP. Peter holds a BA in history from Cornell. Here's a sample of titles of columns that Peter has written in the last few weeks. As you can see, they cover all manner of topics. He is, in short, the ultimate professional journalist and social and economics commentator. And, as you'll see/hear, Peter's also a tremendously modest and nice person.
