I just called my senators to tell them, in the strongest possible terms:

“DONT. FUND. MURDER.”

During my 30 years as a federal prosecutor, I worked with every law-enforcement agency in Washington DC, both federal and local. What ICE is doing in Minneapolis and elsewhere is NOT policing. It is NOT legitimate law-enforcement.

What we see them doing with our own eyes constitutes bullying, it constitutes assault, it constitutes battery, it constitutes a deprivation of constitutional rights, and horrifically, on more than one occasion it has constituted murder.

Please tell your senators we don't care if it results in a government shut down:

“DON'T. FUND. MURDER.”
