When and I recorded this week’s Unholy Ground for yesterday, he said, “This has been a prolific week for you.”
I never feel like overly emotional weeks are prolific. Exhausting. Draining. Frustrating. Maddening. But not prolific. Maybe the underlying feelings give the work more edge. This week’s newsletters are below in case you missed them.
Today, let’s do a Who’s Who of the leaders of yesterday’s highlighted Muscular Christianity conference. Where men could learn how to fight and die for Jesus for the early bird price of $59.99 or the full price of $99.99. What a bargain that would be if we could get them to fight a Holy War with each other instead of the rest of us.
While this may seem tiny and niche and irrelevant to millions of Americans, it is going to be increasingly important to recognize these people and their events wherever we see them advertised.
Bios and lists can be dull, but they are necessary information. Before reading, please keep several things in mind:
Note the number of non-denominational and Southern Baptist participants. The non-denominational congregations are a convenient way to avoid denominational reporting and oversight. The Southern Baptists are all in on WCN all the way to the top.
Take note of prominent or recurring affiliations. Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Liberty University. Kairos. American Reformer. Benign-seeming events take on a new cast when one knows the WCN mission behind these groups.
Look for common language. Warfare. Battle. Sports. Offense versus defense. They repeat this coded language everywhere, making it easier to recognize and call out.
Note where cross-connections are happening. How church bleeds into media bleeds into politics bleeds into real estate development bleeds into sports bleeds into family bleeds into war. Making these connections will help you see them in your communities.
Sean Davis
Sean Davis is CEO and co-founder of The Federalist, a far-right online publication founded in 2013. Billionaire WCN fascist overlord Richard Uihlein contributed over $2.3 million to The Federalist’s private tax-exempt foundation, which funds the publication, between 2019 and 2021. (SOURCES here and here)
According to his online bio, he previously worked as an economic policy adviser to former Texas governor Rick Perry, as CFO of the far-right publication Daily Caller, and as chief investigator for former Republican Oklahoma senator Tom Coburn, also known as “Dr No” for his opposition to government spending.
He also did this after the Roberts Court ruled against the regime on birthright citizenship. I’ll let readers decide what that makes him.
Dr David Schrock

Founder of Via Emmaus, a dominionist WCN evangelical project to “make disciples from all the nations.” On staff at non-denominational Occoquan Bible Church in Woodbridge, VA.
Affiliated with the WCN Substack and group American Reformer (not linking to them here.) This is how American Reformer describes itself on its Substack: “American Reformer’s mission is to promote a vigorous Christian approach to the cultural challenges of our day, rooted in the rich tradition of Protestant social and political thought. Focusing particularly on issues facing American Christians, we will seek to contribute to the reformation of Christian institutions that have become corrupted by false ideologies and practices.”
J Chase Davis
Also affiliated with American Reformer. Pastor of The Well Church, a non-denominational congregation in Boulder, CO. He hosts a podcast and published a book called Offensive Christianity: Restoring the Strength of Men in a Feminized Age.
In case anyone wonders…Muscular Christianity should be offensive. It’s a sports analogy: to go on offense. But he also means for “real” Christian men to be offensive, to aggressively humiliate and offend those who disagree with them.

It takes hours to research and make a newsletter like this one. If you’re inclined to spend a few bucks to offset Dick Uihlein’s billions, I’d appreciate it.
