Kile Jones and I went live today, and more than 80 of you showed up to listen to us chat—which was beyond flattering. Seriously, thank you.
We started out planning to talk about history being rewritten in real time, and then we wandered into about twelve other subjects, because apparently neither of us is particularly good at staying within an outline once we get going.
We talked about Jewish history, Zionism and antizionism, propaganda, the language used to frame Israel, how historical narratives get built and repeated, and what happens when something gets repeated so many times online that people stop asking whether it was ever true in the first place.
We also got into some things we hadn’t planned to discuss at all, which ended up being some of my favorite parts of the conversation.
