For the Luke Bryan concert at Brookston with music 6-11 p.m. (parking begins at 2 p.m.), the heaviest storms have passed, now it is just some lulls with off & on rain afternoon to evening. So, you should be ok with lack of lightning after this, it is just going to be muddy.
So, there are your storms with isolated severe weather risk as warm front continues to shift northward, until those pull through & we are left with some lingering showers.
We then dry out into the night as all rainfall ends.
As for Sunday, more showers & storms will develop & impact the area. The change to the forecast is that storms with some severe weather risk will not be just confined to the morning, but rather afternoon-evening.
Warm front will be on the move northward & along & south of that warm front, isolated severe storms will be possible. How far north in the area isolated severe weather gets will be determined by how far north the warm front gets.
Storms with isolated severe hail risk (1” diameter) will occur north of US 24 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. tonight-Sunday morning, then we see lulling, followed by storms with the isolated severe risk over part of the area 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
