After hitting swing states safe red states like Alabama and Oklahoma in the first few days of his long-promised campaign sprint to the midterms, President Donald Trump brought the road show to Ohio on Saturday night.
While the Buckeye State went for him by 11 points in 2024, Republican candidates for governor and Senate find themselves behind their Democratic rivals with a month left in the campaign. Trump’s visit was intended to ramp up the party’s lackadaisical base.
